I am and will continue to be a student of Ken Sporalsky. I met him
through pure luck in Bend, Oregon and he has become an invaluable
resource to me and my horses as we worked through multiple issues. Ken’s
passion is reining horses but I think he can help essentially any
horse/rider pair work together more effectively. Ken’s high standards
and commitment to excellence have kept me and my horses moving forward
rather than stagnating, and let’s face it- this is what makes horses so
interesting and fun.
A few of the things that Ken has helped me with
were overcoming spookiness and fear issues in a horse, teaching me to
become a better equine leader, ground work, equipment changes (bits),
buying a horse, collection, sacking out and starting a young horse, etc.
Ken has given me sound advice all along the way. All of Ken’s training
methods are gentle, practical, and done with the intent of producing a
calm, quiet, responsive mount. His goal is a horse that understands his
job and is happy to do it.
Ken’s lessons and training provide an
excellent value for my dollars. When I ask him a question he answers
with so much more than I anticipated. At times, it’s a little like
drinking from a fire hydrant and I need to process all he tells me. If
you want to progress your riding and horsemanship, if you want to
improve your relationship with your horse, if you need help with a
specific problem, or if you just want to have more fun and learn
something new I highly recommend Ken Sporalsky-horse trainer.
